/ Naturalist

for outgoing, dynamic persons with a responsible and conservative

Marine
Emergency Duties
MED A2 (includes A1): Small Vessel Safety
Covering
both MED A1 and MED A2 Levels, this 4–day Transport
Canada approved course is designed to provide skippers of
smaller commercial vessels and other seafarers with various
safety related skills associated with small commercial boat
operation and ensuring the safety of passengers.

Naturalist
Training: Must have a great understanding of our
local wildlife and knowledge of the local waters surrounding
Victoria.
ROC-MC
The
course for the Restricted Operator's Certificate - Maritime
Commercial (ROC-MC) is presently being offered at Camosun
College .
Marine
First Aid
Marine
First Aid or equivalent.
Training
A
minimum of 60 hours of onboard training. We will offer training
to the right candidate.
Transport
Canada Small Passenger Vessel Operators Certification.
Certification
consists of and oral examination with a Transport Canada
