The sightings continue with great trips over the past few weeks. Almost every day we have seen our Resident Orcas and Yesterday we even spotted two groups of Transient Orcas who put on a show for our 2:00pm tour. The same tour was also surrounded by a large number of Porpoise which also made for a highlight of the trip! Today we have had a report already of Whales heading down Island past Lime Kiln. Tours are departing at 10am, 2pm and 5pm. If you are considering booking, we suggest right now that you book at least one day in advance to guarentee your spot!

Gray whale and Humpback! Both whales were spotted and visited by all tours yesterday. The Gray whale has made its home at Oak Bay for the past month or so and the Humpback was seen passing by Race Rocks. Sunday had Orcas at Lime Kiln which is just off the San Juan Islands. We have tours departing at 10am, 2pm and 5pm daily. Please note that our zodiac tours are suitable for chidren 5 years of age and older. If you do have children under the age of five, we are able to accommodate you by booking you onto a larger, covered vessel. Prices are the same for either tour!

We had a wonderful day out on the water yesterday with great sunny weather and calm winds, all three tours yesterday spent time with our Resident Orcas! J-pod was reported to be around Eagle point and L-pod around Salmon Bank! The gray whale is still spending time around Oak bay and so our tours stopped by to see him on their way back!

After an extremely windy day yesterday, today is looking very calm out on the water. We've had whales in the area all weekend and into this week. Yesterday J-Pod was spotted at Lime Kiln just off the San Juan Islands. We've still had a grey whale sticking pretty close to the Oak Bay Flats. Sightings of Minke Whales as well as a humpback and porpoise were reported on the weekend also. Tours are departing at 10am, 2pm and 5pm daily.

Whales spotted this morning already just off Cattle Point! Our weather is amazing and the whales are around. Consistent sightings over the past 3+ weeks! Yesterday afternoon our tour was on scene with J pod over by the San Juan Islands. On return we also came across the gray whale who has been staying close to Oak Bay. The weather is expected to be amazing this week and heading into the weekend. Zodiac tours depart at 10am, 2pm and 5pm. Covered boat option available with tours leaving at 9am and 1pm.

Gray Whale in the Harbour!! This weekend and into the week we have been visited by a gray whale who has been sticking quite close to the victoria harbour. Sunday he was seen by the breakwater, Monday and Tuesday he was right at Fishermans Wharf!!! Our 10am Tour yesterday was on Scene with a few Minke Whales at Hein Bank and the previous days have been spent with our Resident Orcas off various points around the San Juan Islands. Tours are running daily at 10am, 2pm and 5pm!

It looks like summer is trying to make an appearance with great weather expected for the rest of the week and into the weekend! The whales are around and have been spending a lot of time around the San Juan Islands. Report just in this morning of whales milling at Eagle Point! Monday the whales were just off the Oak Bay Flats and around Discovery Island! Today tours are running at 10am, 2pm, and 5pm!

Reports in this morning of Whales at James Island in Rosario Strait Southbound as well as Whales at Otter Point! We've had some great tours this week with whale sightings on each on of them! On the weekend we had a smart little harbour seal, being attacked by Transient Orcas, jump onto the outboard of the Victoria Clipper for safety!! (It had slowed for the Orca's and passengers to view.) J-pod as well as L-pod were seen yesterday. The weather forcast for the weekend is looking great and tours will be running daily at 10am, 2pm!

While the weather hasn't been the greatest, we have still had great trips with consistent whale sightings over the weekend and into the first part of this week! Both our Resident and the Transient Orcas have been spotted in the surrounding areas as well as a Jr. Humpback just off the Breakwater recently! J-pod has been around the past few days and our tours have been able to spend time with them. One tour in particular and the unique experience of watching a couple mother orcas teach their young how to catch their food! Tours are running daily at 10am and 2pm. Please inquire about additional departure times.
It was a great weekend and has been a good start to this week! This weekend we had a large pod of Orcas just off our Harbour waterfront and at Race Rocks!! The afternoon tour on Sunday had the opportunity to watch a group of Orcas teaching their young how to feed! Reports in the past couple days have been of Orcas, Transient and L pod, as well as Humpback, Gray and a group of 150 Harbour Porpoise! Yesterday's tour spotted a Humpback just off of the Breakwater, harbour porpoise and then at Friday Harbour members of L pod were seen!

We had a wonderful weekend with tours having the opportunity to visit with K and L pod just off the San Juan Island! They had been seen heading down through active pass and by Saturday they were within reach! Other sightings over the weekend and into the first part of this week have included, Minke Whales, Porpoise, and Transient Orcas. Stellar Sea Lions and Elephant Seals were also visited at Race Rocks.

Our resident Orca's appear to be on their way back! Today about about 2:30pm, a large pod of Orca's were reported to be heading South past Campbell River. The reports sound like they are K and L pod. Hope to see them here soon!

It was a beautiful afternoon out on the water! Sightings reported today were of Gray Whales, possibly 2 or 3 different ones. The first spotted just off Friday Harbour heading North. The remaining reports were from Spieden Island, Northbound as well as at Skipjack Island, Boundary Pass heading North East!

Continued sightings of Transient Orcas as well as Minke Whales today. 5-6 whales were seen heading East past Beechy Head as well as 1 Minke reported at Parry Bay along with 2-3 Minkes at Hein Bank.

A great afternoon with the whales out on the water. Transient Orcas were travelling around Race Rocks as well as reports of many killer whales heading west past the Victor Hotel Buoy, just off our harbour! 3 Minke Whales were also spotted around Hein Bank.

It was a beautiful day out on the water! We were able to see 2 Transient Orcas at Kelp Reef located in the Haro Strait. The Gray whale reported yesterday was still heading West past Jordan River. This nice weather we are having is expected to continue through the week and so we are looking forward to a great week out on the water!

Another great day out on the boat with sightings of Minke Whales just off of Heine Bank. Though we weren't able to get up to Sooke, there was also a reported sighting of a Gray Whale just West of Sombrio Beach. Great weather expected for the remainder of the weekend!

We had a good trip this afternoon catching up with 2 Transient Orcas heading North East in Presidents Channel. We had the hopportunity to even watch them eat their lunch!

We had a good trip, No Whales but lots of other wildlife such as, Sealions, Seals and Porpoise. This week looks like it might be a bit windy but the sun should be out and whales are close by.

We Had a great tour today. A large Pod of Transient Orcas were putting on quite a show close to Victoria. Breaching, tailslapping and a very energetic Calf were seen out on the water. Sun was out and everyone had a great tour.

We have had some great Transient Orca sightings this week as well as a beached Gray Whale near Sooke. We did have a few Cancellations due to heavy wind and swells this week but the week to come looks great. For reservations please call or book on line.

Another great Afternoon. We spotted some Transient Orcas south of The Victoria Harbour Bouy. The sun was out and the weather was good. There have also been many Gray Whale sightings in the area over the last few weeks.

Today was an amazing day out on the water. There were around 20 Transient Orcas in the area around Victoria and the weather was perfect. It was a great trip for everyone.

We are continuing to have some great Humpback sightings on our tours, with breaching, tail slapping, and peck waving. There have been several around as they are on their migration. September has been a great month for whale sightings! We’ve had both resident and transient orcas in the area. Humpback whales have also been in the area this month!
